A statue of Mrs. Brown was unveiled in Dublin this morning
TODAY, MRS BROWN’S Boys D’Movie is released on DVD, following its record-breaking stint in cinemas earlier this summer.
A statue of the programme’s eponymous character appears to have now been erected on Moore Street, where Mrs. Brown famously keeps her fruit and vegetable stall.
The statue appears to have been unveiled by Cllr Gary Gannon, who seems just as surprised as we are by the whole thing.
Of course the statue is only temporary and is made of polystyrene, but that hasn’t stopped people from weighing in on it.
Whoops!
